OPTICAL BENEFITS

The optometry benefit comprises single vision or bifocal spectacles if the qualifying norms are complied with.
A choice of frames are available from a selected range of Prime Cure quality approved modern frames. The lenses are lightweight and of superior quality and are either white (clear) CR39 single vision or white (clear) CR39 bifocal lenses.

For the granting of bifocals, members have to comply with both the distance vision and near vision qualifying norms. Spectacles are granted provided that the standard optometric qualifying norms are met.
